Colours

Since each monitor display colours differently the threads may look differently in real. Colours also look most "correctly" in daylight. Which means it will appear differently indoor with artificial light. Because of these points I try to describe each colour with words.

If shades of colours are important to you I would recommend investing in a shade card. These shade cards consist of actual thread samples and is the only thing which can represent the thread colours 100% correctly.

Alternatively you can also ask for free samples (about 1m each). Maximum 14 colours or thickness.
Please send me an email with name, address, colours and optionally thickness.

I cannot be responsable if the colours of the threads looks differently than on your monitor.

Payment

I accept payment through PayPal, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and bank transfer.

Invoice/bank transfer should only be used if you don't have PayPal or do not wish to use credit card. International bank transfer is rather slow and expensive, so PayPal or credit card are recommended. Pre-payment is expected in most cases.

You should pay with PayPal or credit card since they offer better protection for both buyer and seller.

Cancellation

Orders can be canceled prior to shipping free of charge.
Your payment will be returned in full within 24 hours (may take longer to reach your bank account).

If the order is already shipped you'll have to return the goods before getting your money back. The return shipment you have to cover yourself, but your payment will get returned in full.

Discount system

To reward faithful customers you'll get 2% discount on your second order.
From there it will keep increasing by 1% for every order you place.
Maximum discount is 15%.
Discount applies to everything in the shop, also items on sale, but does not apply to shipping and packing.

For the discount to be recognized you'll have to order with the same email address every time.
To see your discount in the shopping cart, please fill in your email address and click on "Refresh Cart".

If the discount system seems complicated, don't think about it! It will automatically calculate and deduct for you! All you have to do is placing your orders as normally.

VAT

All goods are being sent from Prague, Czech Republic.
Czech VAT (21%) are included in all prices in the webshop. The price you see is what you pay.

If you have an EU VAT number and would like the VAT deducted, please select "Invoice" as payment method and write your VAT number in the comment. I'll verify your VAT number and send you an invoice without VAT.

Shipping and delivery

Orders are normally sent the next weekday after payment or the latest within two weekdays - unless stated otherwise.
Orders received before 14:00 CET may in some cases be sent the same day.

All packages are sent as registered mail with tracking which gives extra safety for both you as a buyer and for me as seller.
Tracking number is automatically sent to you by email once the order is shipped.

Shipments are sent by Czech Post which forwards them to your national postal service. You'll receive a package notification as usual and pick them up at your local post office.

I only ship to addresses inside the European Union (plus Norway), no exceptions.

Normally the shipping takes 3-4 weekdays.

Returns and complaints

Unused goods can be returned within 2 weeks after arrival for a full refund.
The refund will be sent to the same account you paid from.
Shipping cost of returned goods is covered by the buyer.

You don't have to state any reasons for returning goods.
Please just send back any unused threads and attach the order number, then we'll solve it quietly and painlessly.

Complaints has to be raised and agreed before returning.
Shipping cost of complaints/claims is covered by the seller.

Valid reasons for complaints:
  • Wrong goods (wrong colour, wrong, thickness etc)
  • Damage on goods
  • Missing goods (*1)
Non-valid reasons:
  • Colour wasn't what you expected
  • You ordered wrong item by mistake

(*1) On complaints regarding missing items you may need to weight the package.
Please save the packing until any claims are cleared!

Privacy

  • Personal informations are only stored and used for handling of the order.
  • All informations are handled internally and won't be shared with any third party.
  • I do not send newsletters, advertisements or any kind of "spam" - neither on email, letter or phone.

Environment

I prefer recycled paper for invoices and packing lists - even though they cost more than new paper.
Packaging are either recycled, unbleached or made from FSC certified paper.
Waste are being sorted for recycling (paper and plastic).
I also reuse the thread's own boxes for shipping when it's possible.
