When I started sewing in Norway I had to make compromises when it came to sewing threads. The choice was either good threads in tiny 200m spools, or bad threads in larger 1000m spools. Nothing else was available. That's how I started by own webshop - only for sewing threads. This way I got access to quality sewing threads in decent spool size for a good price, at the same time also offering them to other demanding sewers around Europe
I've decided to focus on quality since that's what important to me who sews a lot.
You may find cheaper sewing threads elsewhere, but you won't find anything better!

My threads are from Gütermann (Mara) and Coats (Epic). Both are well known and well established brands.
The reason for having two brands is because there is no single sewing thread which are superior in every way.
Shortly speaking, Mara is better looking and have less lint, while Epic is stronger, more elastic and better price.

Shade Cards
I've decided not to photograph the different colours since each monitor may display them differently. Even a high-end and proper calibrated monitor won't show the colours how they really are.
If you sew a lot and are concerned about colour I would recommend buying a shade card.
The shade cards have actual thread samples and is the only way to show the colours correctly.
However because the shade cards have physical samples of every colour they're very expensive to make.
That's why the price for them are rather high.
If you're curious about only a few colours then I can send you some samples for free.
Please choose up to 14 colours and send me an email. You may also want to specify different thickness as well, if interested.
You don't need both shade cards. If you have one of them I can find the closest match for you from the other one. I have equipments which can measure colours giving objective and accurate results.
